Anytime someone starts talking about a new diet, I'm usually a bit skeptical because I've tried some of the craziest ones out there. Hot dogs and vanilla ice cream... cabbage soup for a week.. and let's not forget the whole juicing cleanse for several days straight. I literally craved the desire to chomp on something. Give me a carrot stick, celery or whatever.. I just need to chew.
I finally found one that I could really get behind by just reading a few sentences into the article. It's called The Sirtfood Diet and it encourages you to consume red wine and chocolate. Yeah, you heard me right. Red wine and Chocolate. Count me in! That's all I need to know. Done and done.
In all seriousness, if you want to check out the diet- head on over here. I am not a health guru and by no means am I endorsing this or saying it's bad. I'm just saying it's an awesome idea. I'm a true believer everything is fine in moderation.
So when you're celebrating this Valentine's Day or just eating some chocolate while sipping on your red wine, just know there's a diet out there giving you the thumbs up. I can definitely high five on that!
